Yes, the price for each training includes access to the modules and tests.
All courses are in written in the English language and, where applicable, contain English audio.
You must have internet access to be able to access the learning website. You should also have access to a printer if you would like to print your certificate once the course in completed. As there is audio to our videos you must also have working speakers or headphones.
Each course is unique and the anticipated time taken to complete can differ between courses. However there is no time limit and each course can be completed in your own time. Please refer to your specified course for more details.
If you have trouble accessing the videos please check that you have a stable internet connection. You should also make sure that volume is turned up and if you are listening through headphones that they are plugged in properly. If you are still having trouble and you believe that it is a fault with the course itself then please contact our Sheffield office on 0114 254 3500.
In order to complete the course, receive your certificate and receive CPD hours, you must complete the full course and pass all of the modules. Please be aware that certain courses (e.g. Understanding MRSA) don't allow you to progress to the next module before the prior one is completed.
We are pleased to be able to offer free access to some of our educational content. However, some courses attract a fee. This is to reflect the quality and depth of content.
Both of these courses are web based and therefore they will continue to run until they are outdated, for example, if guidelines change. If this was to happen the course will be reviewed and most likely be updated to fit the current standards. In order to make sure that our courses keep up to date we will review them every 24 months or when new guidelines are published.
When watching the videos you may stop and start the training. You can also close down your tabs and come back to the training later. However when completing a test it is not possible to navigate away from the page. If you do, all progress will be lost on that particular module.
In order to access the course you must buy/register for one of our courses. Once you have done this you will then be given the opportunity to create your own personal log in username and password. Once you have created your log in, you will be taken to your own personal dashboard where you can view the modules and complete the test questions. You can also use the log in details to return to the training whenever is best for you.
We may be able to supply educational content on a CD-ROM e.g. for uploading to your organisation's intranet. Please contact us to check if this is possible for your course.

Each course includes a variety of ways to support your learning. Some are text and video based, others just videos. In addition to this if you need any other support please do not hesitate to contact our office on 0114 254 500.
Our courses are completely online and no written assignment is necessary. In order to complete the course you must complete and pass each set of questions linked to the modules. If you fail a module you will not be able to complete the course. For some courses (e.g. Understanding MRSA) if you fail a module you are unable to progress to the next module until the prior one is completed.
Yes, once the course has been completed you will be given the opportunity to save a pdf version of your certificate. You can then print at home or request a printed version to be sent to you. Please note that you do not have to print your certificate as soon as you complete the training. The e-certificate will be saved and each time you log in to your personal dashboard you will be able to view past certificates.
Wherever possible, courses are accredited by relevant industry organisations and/or independently verified by the CPD Certification Service to ensure the course is compatible with global CPD principles.
No, there is no need for any specialist software to be installed on the computer. You will need a stable internet connection and a printer if you wish to print out your certificate.
Fees may differ between courses. There is currently no charge for our Understanding MRSA training programme. For our Cross Infection Control dental training we charge a very competitive £299.00 - this price is per practice and not per individual. A practice of up to 20 people can make use of the training.
All of our courses currently have a 24 month expiration date (although it is recommended to refresh your knowledge every 12 months). This is to ensure that the courses are kept up to date with guidelines and regulations. Once you have booked a course you will then have unlimited access to that resource throughout the 24 months. Even once the course has been completed you are able to review the modules. However, when you are completing a test or CPD questions you must not navigate away from the page.
In order for healthcare professionals to receive a certificate and/or CPD upon completion of the training course all employees must be registered. Each member of staff will then get their own log in details for them to complete the training. For the Cross Infection Control dental training each member of staff must also input their own GDC registration number in order to receive a log in.
